Resource Ecological Centre is a network of 12 NGOs from the Federation and Serbian entities* which are working on environmental protection, education and peace-building.
(*Bosnia Herzegovina is divided by the Dayton agreement into two entities, a Federation entity for Croats, Bosniaks and others, and a Serbian entity which is also called Republika Srpska.)
Our organisation works on peacebuilding through forms of non-formal education like organising youth camps and workshops in nature, ecological awareness for the protection and preservation of natural monuments, and the protection and preservation of flora and fauna in the Zenica – Doboj region. We also offer educational and other forms of help to similar NGOs in this region.
We cooperate with NGOs and non-formal associations from the Serbian entity (Republika Srpska) and our projects aims to create a better quality of life for all citizens from this region.
I advise similar organisations to join together, because when joined together in a organised group your organisation will be stronger and taken more seriously by the authorities.
Training, consultancy and other forms of education. We also have a library of educational materials, available free of charge to all partner NGOs.
