Youth Centre Livno is a non-profit NGO formed in early 2000. It organises international volunteer camps, advocates good youth policies and educates people in the region about peace, tolerance, and cross-ethnic and cross-border work.
The mission of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR) is to provide protection for the victims of human rights violations, establish new connections between the post-war generations, and enhance the participation of youth in transitional justice processes. YIHR promotes truth, justice, peace and equality as its core values.
This network of youth NGOs promotes voluntary work and youth activism in the Kakanj municipality, in order to normalise peace and inter-ethnic tolerance. It also conducts training in project management and non-violent communication.
