The aim of the association is to reduce poverty and eliminate harmful practices against women in the community. They pursue these goals:

- Sensitisation on the gains of educating their children (male or female), discouraging practices were women give their children of school age away to wealth urban dwellers as helps for a fee; and
- Advocating for the change of certain laws that are not favourable to women such as female circumcision, and compelling young widows to stay in mourning (wearing only black clothes through out the period) for at least one year.
A message to other organizations is not to relent despite challenges in their effort to empower themselves, they should continue spreading the message of peace particularly in those communities that have been torn by any form of conflict.
