Women's Leadership Development Training and Capacity Building

The initiative aims to improve the economic and social status of Nepali women through training, with the goal of involving them more actively in the peace process.

Description

The organisation is implementing programmes focused particularly on increasing women's economic independence and political awareness. Recently, it has launched programmes to build women's leadership capacity, to ensure their participation in peacebuilding at local and national levels, and to promote women's education and economic empowerment. The organisation has been speaking out against domestic violence and raising awareness of human rights, including women's rights. It has also built up a network for peace at the local level.

Aims / Objectives

The organisation aims to improve women's economic situation in order to ensure their involvement in the decision-making and peace processes.
