Nari Sewa Kendra has been working to develop women's leadership in the peace movement by providing them with leadership training. The organisation aims to improve women's economic situation in order to ensure their involvement in the decision-making and peace processes. The organisation is also working to eliminate domestic violence against women through an awareness-raising campaign and efforts to increase women's economic independence. It is hoped this will open up their involvement in the public domain and in sectors such as the peace movement.

The members of the organisation have been performing voluntary work for conflict transformation in their respective areas by providing training and facilitating workshops.
