The Great Lakes Center for Conflict Resolution (GLACCR) is an independent not-for profit and non-governmental organisation working for conflict prevention and peacebuilding. GLACCR was established to address chronic conflict and security challenges in the Great Lakes Region of Africa. The organisation’s current interventions are in Northern Uganda, where they are working to address emerging conflict issues and to consolidate peace in Northern Uganda through field research and policy advocacy, and strengthening the capacity of local institutions for conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
