borongseengo-pBorongseengo was founded in 2009 to give young people in the conflict areas of southern Thailand a voice to tell their stories from their perspective. Borongseeno delivers media training, materials and consults the young people about how to present a story well. Young people in the conflict-affected areas of south Thailand often have a bad image, particularly in the media. Borongseengo tries to counter these negative stereotypes.

Borongseengo gives the young people a platform to speak and the opportunity to learn more about the social issues in the conflict area. In this way they can learn more about how they can build peace in their homeland.

Borongseengo is funded by the Research Institute of the Faculty of Humanities, Prince of Songkhla University, Pattani Campus.
