The Roshani Organization was established in 2005 to bring awareness among the rural communities regarding education, health, environment, social welfare, sports, culture and development-related issues. The organisation’s motto is to “make peace through education, sports and cultures”, and they claim to be one of the first independent NGOs working for development of sports and culture in Pakistan.
The organisation is based in Faisalabad and reaches out to other parts of the country through affiliates and members, so as to address critical issues concerning peace and conflict.
