Interface Nepal runs communication campaigns to support the Nepali peace process. They aim to reach all members of Nepal’s diverse society and inform them of key issues such as conflict resolution and human rights. Interface believes that using innovative media is a very effective way to reach out to excluded groups. They seek to inform Nepali people about issues surrounding the conflict and the peace process, such as elections and the constitution writing process, to ensure that the process is inclusive of the wishes of the whole of Nepal. To support their aims they provide services such as media training and consultancy, advocacy, and documentary and film production

Information Campaign: Gender, Social Inclusion, and Participatory Governance

This project campaigns for inclusion in Nepal’s peace process through a range of media. Interface conducted a study which identified key messages they needed to get across, and developed characters based on different aspects of Nepali society, which suggested unity in diversity. The characters appeared across the campaign to illustrate the messages through TV, radio, posters, leaflets, etc.
