ASOQ’ANIL facilitates the process of exhuming victims of the Civil War and coordinating community-based burial ceremonies that provide families with closure and a dignified service for their relatives. They work with coroners from anthropology establishments, international organisations, as well as peace and justice programmes to identify the remains of victims. ASOQ’ANIL then prepares workshops with leaders at the municipal level and involves the churches for the burial service preparations.
This Association strives for sustainable change with peace and justice. By providing their service and instilling values of human rights, ASOQ’ANIL is able to alter the lives of those affected by the Civil War in meaningful ways .
