Actions for Peace and Development in the Great Lakes Region (APDA/GL)
APDA/GL is involved in a range of activities to support the development of a sustainable peace in the Great Lakes region. The organisation provides training and sensitisation around the issues of non-violence and human rights.
Association of survivors of the Makobola massacres (ARMMK)
ARMM focuses on developing inter-ethnic peaceful coexistence and conflict resolution at a grassroots level in DR Congo. They are made up of survivors of the Makabola Massacres.
Association of Volunteers for the Management of Vulnerable Children and Unaccompanied (AVEVENA)

Centre for Study and Social Action (CENEAS)
Founded in 1997, the Centre for Study and Social Action (CENEAS) is staffed by 15 permanent employees and 45 local correspondents who work to research and resolve conflict in the Eastern DRC.

Emergency Programme for Vulnerable People and Disaster Victims (PSVS)
This organisation works at a local level in the South Kivu region of Eastern DRC which has been severely affected by conflict.
Football Inter-Communautaire Project (FIC)

Héritiers de la Justice (Heirs of Justice) is a Congolese NGO and human rights organisation which specialises in promoting peace in the Great Lakes Region, particularly in South Kivu.
Organisation for assistance and development (OCAD)
OCAD works within local communities on peacebuilding, education and the protection of women. It provides seminars and training, organises public meetings and lobbies for change.
Pan-African Peace University
The Pan African Peace University will provide accessible university education for all, including orphans and children from poor families, thus opening the chance for them to hold leadership positions and help shape Africa’s destiny.

Since 2003, VODIMIR has aimed to contain conflict peacefully and support all vulnerable groups and minorities through creating a space for their rights.
Women for Peace and Development (FPD)
Women for Peace and Development (FPD) and its partners work to bring vulnerable women and victims of violence in eastern DR Congo together to form associations, with the aim of helping them to overcome trauma, helping them spiritually and materially for their self-development.
